Pasta with Braised Garlic
Ingredients
- 230g vermicelli
- 2 heads of garlic, chopped
- 1/4 cup chicken stock
- 1 T balsamic vinegar
- 2 t light brown sugar
- Salt, pepper to taste
- Romano cheese, grated
Directions
- Set salted water to boil for pasta.
- Heat half the chicken stock in a large pan over medium head and add garlic.
- Cook for 15 minutes, adding stock as it thickens.
- Stir vinegar, brown sugar, and seasoning into the garlic mixture.
- Cook the pasta, drain, and transfer to large bowl.
- Add the sauce, toss, and garnish with cheese.
